Surrounded by the sea and some of the country’s most beautiful dunes, Strandhotel Camperduin has an ideal location for a relaxing holiday filled with beach walks and fresh air. It includes a restaurant with sea view. The dune area is grown with heath and forest and has many cycling, hiking and horse riding paths. The guestrooms have a view of the polder behind the Hondsbossche Zeewering. You will have a wide view over a beautiful bird watching area (Bird Reservation de Putten). On the other side of the hotel you have a view on the dune area of Schoorl. Guests need only to open their window to smell the sea.

A good place to spend a few relaxing days!

Pros: The hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants. The apartment was clean. The staff was very friendly. And the breakfast was great! A good place to spend a few relaxing days! Definitely recommended!

A lovely place to stay, very close to Camperduin beach.

Pros: The location is great, very close to the beach. The reception staff( mainly the owner) are very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an order affair, and was tasty. An electric loading station is available.

Cons: The rooms are fairly small and feel a bit cramped .

Well worth a longer stay next time we visit the Netherlands.

Pros: The view was of fields and a shallow lake. The beach was 500 m away over the dunes. I wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Typically Dutch.

Cons: I tried to choose somewhere with a restaurant as I have mobility issues and we didn’t want to drive at night. The restaurant was 400 meters away.

Pros: Magic remote setting where the Dutch landscapes of Ruysdael meet the sea. A silent quiet place in winter. nice setting for the beach, for making walks and for birdwatching

Cons: The setting has a minor disadvantage: it is in a remote location away from shops and restaurants especially in winter

Pros: Perfect location close to the sea and dunes. Staff were very friendly, and accommodation comfortable.

Cons: Although we booked the family studio with 5 persons one mattress was missing, and towels were present for only 2 persons. After reporting this was quickly addressed and solved by the friendly personnel.
