Postillion Hotel Amsterdam

Pros: Nice facilities, friendly staff, modern design, spacious room.

Cons: Despite wanting a double bed and paying extra for that, it seems as though we had two twin beds pushed together. The duvets were also twin duvets and the pillows were small which made it quite awkward to sleep.

Amazing people working at Postillion!

Pros: We stayed in Postillion for my newly wed wife's and my wedding. For this on the day itself we had fotographers, groomsman and bridesmaids at the location which made it very busy. The staff was very welcoming and supportive even though it was busy. Service amazing!!

Quality short stay. Would definitely look to stay again on my return.

Pros: Location. Very well situated for our needs and proximity to metro links.

Pros: Modern hotel with great value for money. The metro is nearby, just note that there’s no grocery stores or restaurants in the area.

Cons: The bathroom lights were automatic and not possible to control, so at night they turned on in full brightness.

Decent hotel.

Pros: Located between 2 train stations, 5-10 minutes walk to any of them, which goes straight into de city central.

Cons: Breakfast was very limited with a small range of choices. The room temperature it is limited to 23 degrees Celsius, while outside were -5 -6. Sleeping was uncomfortable in a cold environment.

Good value for money

Pros: New modern hotel with comfortable room and located just a few minutes walk from the underground station. Comfortable bed and very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Everything was good. if i had to say soemthing: the offer at the restaurant was limited, but that's because they were undergoing some changes so I assume it was temporary. Room are comfortable, even if they could be a bit bigger.

Go to place that never dissapoints!

Pros: Go to hotel in Amsterdam. Been here multiple times and it never dissapoints ever. Location is wonderful, rooms are top quality and the staff is always very friendly. Never change a winning team they say!

Modern, quiet, and comfortable hotel with outstanding staff and great views. Perfect for a city stay

Pros: We spent three nights here as a couple over New Year’s Eve (Dec 30 – Jan 2) and had a fantastic stay. The room was very quiet, cozy, modern, and well equipped, with a great view from the 15th floor. Everything felt comfortable and well thought out. Staff were extraordinary helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We used the gym twice (rowing machine, pull-up bar, treadmill), which was a nice bonus. Parking in the hotel garage was convenient at around €27 per night. Overall a very pleasant experience, fully recommended.

Cons: EV charging is available but not operated by the hotel itself. It would be more convenient if the hotel handled the charging directly and offered more charging points, as currently only two chargers are available.

Pros: The people in the reception were exceptionally welcoming, warm and respectful. They offered me guidance about places to visit in the city and they provided me with a city and metro map. Furthermore, they kept my luggage in a safe location so that I could explore the city freely, since I arrived at the hotel well before the check-in time. The room was very clean, very modern and it had an amazing futuristic view. A detail that I enjoyed was the fact that the room was equipped with a mini fridge. The breakfast was very tasty, of good quality and had many vegeterian options. The hotel is located in a slightly remote location in the modern part of Amsterdam, but it is within walking distance of 2 overground/metro stations, so the commute to and from the city center is very easy and fast. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel while visiting Amsterdam. It is value for money in my opinion.

Cons: The walls between the rooms were not particularly steardy, so when someone in the room next to mine was shutting their door, the wall in my room was shaking and the wall decorations were banging against it and making unsettling noise. This happened very often and so it was noticeable. Also, the window did not seal properly, so I could hear the wind wheezing on windy nights even though the window was closed.

Cons: I couldn't turn the A/C from the WOW TABLET
