Pros: Clean nice location , kind staff , good value for money, felt safe

Cons: Nothing I didn’t like

Pros: It’s was not my first time staying here. Staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Housekeeping is very quick and punctual. So even if you arrive way earlier, if your bed is ready, you can straight away check in. They strive for safety and peace which is incredibly important known for the area. I always feel good when I stay here. Stay here if you are okay that this is a hostel for sleep, not for living. Every hostel is different. This one doesn’t have a lounge or kitchen, but it does compensate with great location. Supermarkets and different restaurants, brunch places are closely available.

Cons: This time around a few guests were quite unsafe and weird. Predatory and sneaky behaviour. Some guests lying about not knowing each other and mistakenly and coincidentally taking my bed which was next to this person, yet the next day they were laying in the bed together with the guest they said they’ve just met. Staff handled the situation very well and acted like an amazing mediator as well said that predatory and aggressive guests are put to blacklist.

Excellent value and location for a short stay Amsterdam break.

Pros: Important to note it's a hostel and we rented a full 8 bed room, so my ratings are in the context of a hostel, not to be compared with a hotel. I liked the location 5 mins walk from the train station and right in the heart of the centre, next to loads of great bars, restaurants and cafes. I like that we have our own shower room and toilet in our room. I like the keypad entry, making access very easy for all. I like the very reasonable rates and the fact that it was still very reasonable to book the room out and not fill every bed. I was with a mixed group of older and younger people for whom budget was an issue and whilst some would have got a hotel, this place made it affordable for all and for lads trips its a great way to do it. They also checked us in on arrival 4 hours early, which was great, and they rent towels for $3 so you can go with a carry-on bag only for a few-day trip.

Cons: The stairs are very steep and narrow to the higher rooms, so worth noting this if you are less mobile, really fat or elderly. From my perspective, there isn't much that could have been better for the money we paid, to be fair. We got clean and inexpensive, located in a great spot, what's to moan about.

LOVE IT would stay again

Pros: Loved it so much I’ve stayed in so many hostels this trip and Amsterdam is my favourite everything is so close and kinda social

Cons: I thought they didn’t allow anyone 40+ but there was a man making people uncomfortable as he put his hands in his pants

Pros: Clean place, very neat room and bathroom, helpful staff…..just within the city Centre.

Cons: No free towel, you have to pay for everything, lol
