Amigo Budget Hotel

My first experience with a hostel and I am really satisfied. If it comes up, I’ll book it again! :D

Pros: I like how this hostel is right outside the train stations and is easily accessible

Pros: Given lowest accomodation price in such a tourist-crowded destination, I hadn't expected much. However, value for money ratio is spectacular. Beds are clean, comfortable and with a fresh set of bed linen. It's warm everywhere, although there are windows in rooms if guests prefer to ventilate them. Toilets are regularly cleaned and in good condition. Rooms are cleaned daily, too. There are shelves (not lockers) to store your belongings in a room. There is 24-hour reception available. Guests receive magnetic chip cards, so the hostel is as safe as possible. My room had two pairs of doors, so noise from the common corridor was not heard in the room. All in all, it's nearly too good to be true at this price. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next stay in Amsterdam.

Cons: It's not a drawback, just a note: stairs are highly steep, so it's not a place for people with a walking disability.

Would come back

Pros: The hostel was extremely clean. There is a lovely cafe to have breakfast on the other side of the street. It takes 9 minutes to get to the local station from which you can take the express train to the Amsterdam Central train station. There is a tram right outside. 24/7 reception. Clean mattresses and sink in the room.

Cons: No kitchen, quite steep stairs, 2 euro for ear plugs, 10 euro for a towel (I think 6 for towel and 4 deposit).

Amazing

Pros: Good service, they were really friendly, they gave us candy for Halloween. Really clean and they managed to accomodate our group in a room only for us. Great service and for the price is really worth it

Cons: The stairs are a little complicated. Lockers are a little bit small.

Pros: Good budget hotel. Simple room. Clean. Easy tram links to the centre in about 15 mins. Lots of shops literally at the back of the hotel. Park, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Cons: Very very very steep stairs. Fine for me but maybe not everyone. Nothing else bad really. A good budget option

Pros: Overall experience was great . The staff was extremely kind, they waited for me after checking time and even helped me with my heavy suitcase. The rooms are clean. And for this price is the best hostel I stayed.

Pros: Location is just a bit far is coming back at night rest it’s perfect for a solo traveler. Really value for money

Pros: One train stop away from Amsterdam Central, with a direct tram line to the city centre in front of the door.
