NEW - Private Cabin - on a lake near Amsterdam

Nice and quiet small house by the lake, not far from Amsterdam.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at this house near Amsterdam. The place had everything we needed — a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and it was clean and cozy. One of the best things was the location: right on the lake, very peaceful and quiet, far from any roads, which we really appreciated. It's a great spot to relax and unwind.

Cons: Just a heads-up: the house is about a kilometer from the parking area, and it took us a bit of time to find it at first — so make sure you check the directions carefully.

A great place to stay, especially if you like walking.

Pros: The team gave lots of information and were available on the phone when I needed them. The room was perfect and had a nespresso machine, lots of information for food etc aswell. The host had luggage carriers and bikes available for us to use.

Cons: The bikes we had in our location could use some maintenance. The room was a good 25 minute walk from the car and there's no way to avoid that other than booking a boat to the room.

Pros: The place is wonderful, quiet and relaxing; also the cabin is well furnished and clean. The host is so helpful and kind always, her instructions were clear and useful. We were in 3, we had a good time there and we are satisfied.

A little paradise on earth

Pros: This place is amazing whether you're a group of friends or with kids. It is a very quiet and beautiful place and Joyce is an amazing host, always available and making sure everything is doing well. I recommend 100% if you're looking for a quiet, beautiful and relaxing place. Very nice restaurants around as well. Will definitely be back, thanks Joyce!

Tolles Haus, leider etwas zu teuer

Pros: Das Haus ist super schön eingerichtet, sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich! Das große Schlafzimmer ist toll, das für die Kinder auch cool. Die Küche ist (bis auf den fehlenden Toaster) perfekt ausgestattet. Gartenmöbel sind ausreichend vorhanden und man kann toll im Garten und am Wasser sitzen, baden und Boot/SUP fahren. Super ist auch, dass Fahrräder inklusive sind. Das Lastenrad ist total praktisch, wenn auch in die Jahre gekommen. Aber funktioniert und man braucht es definitiv. Dazu gab es noch drei Räder.

Cons: Insgesamt fanden wir die Unterkunft zwar schön, aber mit kleineren Schwächen und daher zu teuer: - Parkplatz für das Auto muss mit 10€ pro Tag extra gezahlt werden, wenn man nicht noch weiter weg parken möchte - das Haus ist kleiner, als es aussieht, bei schlechtem Wetter mit vier (fast) Erwachsenen wird’s eng. - die Türen schlossen alle nicht, die Außentür muss abgeschlossen werden, sonst geht sie auf. Der zweite Flügel der Tür geht hingegen gar nicht auf. - Schiebetür zum Bad schließt auch nicht wirklich, was aufgrund des fehlenden Toilettendeckels und dem Esstisch nebenan eher ungünstig ist. - die Gegend ist zwar auch schön, aber durch den langen Weg durch den Park mit hohen Hecken zu den Grundstücken dann doch irgendwann etwas eintönig, Scheendijk/Breukelen hat uns zum Vergleich besser gefallen.

Lovely Place

Pros: Ein wirklich schönes gemütliches Häuschen. Auf der sonnigen Terasse kann man wirklich zur Ruhe kommen. Ruhe Pur!
