Live like the locals

Pros: The location of the canal house was perfect. Close enough to be able to walk to the central station, shops and restaurants, but still quiet for sleeping. Basics were provided (soap, shampoo etc) and a cute little welcome pack of Dutch treats on arrival. Beds were so comfortable. Communication with property manager excellent, easy to contact for anything with quick response. We would highly recommend staying here.

Cons: We found it quite warm for sleeping, however fans are provided and it would work best if you air the apartment after a day of sightseeing, which we didn’t realise.

Pros: Viihtyisä ja persoonallinen asunto, kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Isäntä piti aktiivisesti yhteyttä, vastaukset kysymyksiin tuli nopeasti. Kaunis ja tunnelmallinen alue.

Cons: Portaat kanavan varteen jyrkät, vaikea kulkea ison matkalaukun kanssa. Äänieristys ei ollut kovin hyvä ja kadulla oli remontti menossa.

Great central location with modern furnishings and amenities but in a unique very old building. Nice to enjoy the boats

Pros: Loved the unique style next to the canal, short walk to train station . Lots of great restaurants to try but also close to grocery store to make some meals at “home”.

Cons: Nothing really… the stairs down to the wharf cellars may be difficult for some and not sure what it’s like in the winter if it’s icy.

Ideal für Utrecht

Pros: Lage ist überragend für einen Städtetrip. Die Unterkunft liegt kultig an der zentralen Gracht und ist gut ausgestattet. Gute Kommunikation durch den Vermieter.

Cons: Eigentlich alles gut...einzig das nur eine dreiviertel Roller Toilettenpapier bereitgestellt wurde fanden wir etwas schade.
