B&B like home

Pros: Great location, great host. We would come to Hendricus again on our visit to Amsterdam. We had variety of food for breakfast which was more than enough😊

Pros: What a wonderful place to stay. Kerstin and family were lovely, helpful and welcoming. With home from home comforts and extra touches to make our stay even more special. Location was fantastic for our trips out and Hoofddorp town itself is lovely, vibrant, busy and so friendly. We really wish we could have stayed longer. B&B Hendricus is so comfortable, peaceful and personal and we loved having our own little garden. The breakfast selection was wonderful, so much to choose from, and the house itself was equipped with everything you could possibly need - and more! Loved everything about it!

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

What a wonderful stay!

Pros: Kerstin made us feel at home with a very warm welcome. The house is full of details with a lovely and cosy decor. The food for breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. It's very easy to go to Amsterdam in public transport using the app Kerstin recommended. For dinner there are quite a few choices within walking distance, but the kitchen in the house is also very handy. We will definitely come back to B&B Hendricus when visiting Amsterdam and the surroundings again.

I was disappointed as Booking.com only allows up to 10 points because this place deserves 20 :)

Pros: First of all thanks the patience of host as I asked too many questions and they replied all of them. So when we arrived there we had no problem. Kerstin told us everything about the cottage, what we should obey, what we should take care etc etc. The fridge was full of meal for breakfast that's enough for 2 days. On the otherhand there was a construction at the garden so as an excuse we found chocolates on the table and it was delicious (thanks for that, we were really hungry at that time). She also offered us bikes or OV chipcards for transport, that was also good. So as result we were really satisfied about everything. Just we couldn't meet with Han Paul, also thanks to him a lot.

Cons: Normally we always complain that we are not so tall but this time it became useful for us :) Because at upstair level was quite low near the bed so I crashed my head and back a few times. I hope there is not so much damage at cottage :) My son crashed his head to ceiling over stairs as he tried to climb very fast, there should be a warning sign maybe. Also one thing more the lightning system at the outside (in front of cottage) is not enough. We need to open the lights of our cell phones to see the ground and key hole. It's just a suggestion, can be solved easily.

Pros: Traditional Dutch house, very cozy and charming. The location is quiet and pleasant. At the same time, Amsterdam's center is easily reachable by bike (provided free of charge) + train combo, which takes about 30 minutes in total. Breakfast was solid and included some nice ingredients like fruits and berries.

Splendid and it’s going to be our home far away from home anytime I am in Netherlands

Pros: The place is unique and very clean, it’s more like a self-compound apartment with full privacy

Cons: Nothing, I like everything

We loved the tiny house and would have loved to stay longer

Pros: The location was very central and easy to find. It was very quiet. The breakfast was really well prepared, and the fridge was perfectly stocked with delicious goodies, even a traditional piece of cake was in there, as it was the Kings Birthday. The food was fresh and off excellent quality. We didn't miss anything, and we could plan when we would like to have breakfast. There were even two bikes available, free parking, internet, TV, what more should we have asked for.

Cons: To be honest, there is nothing to moan about. We didn't miss anything.

Великолепное место, в которое хочется вернуться!

Pros: Это лучшее место, которое мы когда либо арендовали! Все продумано просто до мелочей, дома невероятно уютно и чисто! Район очень тихий и приятный, есть магазины рядом! Хозяйке дома отдельное спасибо за уровень организации, меня так не кормит мама дома, как здесь угощали на завтрак, мы не смогли все съесть))

Pros: Kerstin nous a accueilli dans sa maison avec sourire et bienveillance. Un petit mot de bienvenue sur la table, des petits biscuits juste à côté....😊 Cette petite maison est juste magnifique, décorée avec goût et style. Chaque petit coin est optimisé pour rendre le séjour agréable. Le petit déjeuner était top de chez top, je n'en ai jamais eu d'aussi bon dans une location, Merci beaucoup Kerstin!
