Holiday home at the water

A perfect place to stay for a family or two couple who do not mind sharing a bathroom.

Pros: The location is fantastic. Right on the water edge, just like in the photos.

Cons: It was all great. Even the weather played along!

A unique and adorable place to relax

Pros: This house is very unique. You feel at home with the big living room and kitchen as well as the stereo equipment to deliver your holiday playlist. Both bedrooms are comfortable and the beds are big enough for two and there is another bed in the space in front of these bedrooms. The terrasse directly at the canal is really great and you can watch all the boats going by or use the boat of the house to make a trip around the lake or to a nice restaurant. There is also a ferry nearby to pass the canal in order to reach the nearest supermarket with bakery. The hosts are very helpful if you need information or any assistant. We will come back!

Cons: We have absolutly nothing to complain. :)

Amazing experience!

Pros: What a lovely house and location to spend some time enjoying some beautiful lake views, music and all that the region can offer (from parks, museums to even the Noordwijk Beach). The house was perfect, spacious, clean and cozy. Katelijne was so kind and made us feel literally home. And if you're a musician like me, or love music and arts in general, you will absolutely love to stay here, as the piano (yes, a real piano in the middle of the living room 😍) and whole sound system, including microphone and other percussive instruments had myself and whole family entertained for hours. The paintings and decoration were also gorgeous. I definitely recommend it and hope to come back soon!

Cons: The only difficulty was saying goodbye to the short but memorable good times we had here

Pros: Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser Kurze Wege nach Amsterdam Die Ausstattung vom Haus war wirklich gut

Cons: Die Terrasse und Sitzmöglichkeiten waren leider sehr verdreckt. Die Sonneninsel war leider überhaupt nicht nutzbar. Die Treppe ins OG war sehr steil und oben ist kein Hund erlaubt. Unser Hund hat geweint, weil er nicht bei uns sein konnte. Dadurch musste eine Person auf dem Sofa schlafen. Das Detail war vorher leider nicht ersichtlich. Wir hätten sonst eine andere Unterkunft gebucht.

Holiday Home was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Amsterdam!

Pros: Holiday Home was absolutely a perfect place to stay for our visit to Amsterdam! Kate was the sweetest, most thoughtful host we have ever met! The home was on a canal with a dock and a boat. Central Amsterdam was about a 25 minute drive from here. The kitchen was great, the furnishings were so comfortable, and sitting on dock at the edge of the canal was the best place to sit and have a glass of wine at sunset while watching passing boats and ducks! The only thing I would caution is that the steps to the second floor where the bedrooms are located would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our visit to Holiday Home!

Gemütlich!

Pros: Die freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Art der Gastgeber! Der Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse. Das Feuer im Kamin... und die Musikanlage ;)

Super leuke en unieke ervaring!

Pros: Super mooie, unieke locatie! Kort en bondige rondleiding van de uiterst sympathieke eigenares! Bootje varen, stand up paddle, chillen in de lounge op terras aan het water, genieten van een bbq in de achtertuin, mogelijkheid tot muziek spelen in de accomodatie… super leuke ervaring voor ons als vriendengroep!

Cons: Hier en daar zou de accomodatie een kleine opfissing kunnen gebruiken. Houten vloer van het terras begint stilletjes aan rot te worden, eveneens tegelpad aan de kant van het huisje is wat weggezakt. Niets om je verblijf de dag van vandaag hier niet te boeken. Maar wij hopen wel dat er sporadisch kleine opfrissingen gebeuren zodat het huis duurzaam blijft en wij nog vele malen kunnen terugkeren!

Sieste au bord de l’eau.

Pros: Maison cosy et décorée avec goût; emplacement parfait à 30 mn en voiture du Keukenhof, 30 mn d’Amsterdam, proche de la mer. Situation sur le canal parfaite et très dépaysante: on peut se faire une sieste sur les transats sur la jolie terrasse en bois en regardant passer les bateaux. Un petit coup de froid: un bon feu de cheminée pour nous réchauffer avec toujours vue sur le canal. Très chouette maison! Propriétaires très agréables et prévenants. Tout au top.

Cons: Rien tout est parfait.

Pros: Ein wunderbares Haus mit allem was man benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, da eine tolle Kommunikation durch die Gastgeberin stattfand. Sehr hilfsbereit. Tolle kleines Häuschen auch für Familie mit Kindern. Top Lage.

Un excellent séjour, nous reviendrons.

Pros: Des propriétaires à l'écoute de nos besoins et un accueil chaleureux. La maison est très bien située, le cadre est calme et agréable. Rien ne nous a manqué en terme d'équipements. Les canaux et le lac sont des impératifs à faire en bateau.
