Beautiful stay a small distance from Amsterdam!!

Pros: Beautiful location just 8km from Amsterdam. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. We hired bikes from them one day which was great, also the bus service to Central Amsterdam is really cheap and easy. Great experience overall!

Cons: Nothing!

Tranquility in beautiful setting

Pros: Peaceful, calm, beautiful, with all the required utilities. A doable distance to the capital. Bikes available for rental. Experiencing farming behind the scenes, feeding calfs. Very nice hosts. Worth every penny.

Pros: Location, being near/on a working farm , helpful host, well equipped cottage .

Cons: Road noise, stairs not child friendly

Pros: If you are planning to travel to by car around Amsterdam area you won’t find a better location. The house is small but not tiny, there is more than enough space for a family with 2 or 3 kids. There is a nice view and the road nearby is not annoying at all.

Cons: Light switched on by sensor can be good enough in a hallway, but it is not convenient in bathroom. It would be nice if the hostess leave some paper napkins. But all this was not really a big problem.

Pros: Accommodation was very beautiful, and amazing beds, we had great rest, its also very quiet and close to Amsterdam, by the bikes, we also traveled to Volendam opposite Amsterdam was great experience would come back again.

Wonderful stay, great property!

Pros: Firstly, the pictures don't do this place justice! It appears much bigger than shown, extremely clean and many little touches for a great welcome! The facilities were great, sinks in both bedrooms, plenty of towels, bath robes and even slippers which was a lovely surprise. The kitchen is very modern and fully equipped with any utensils you might need. My friend and I put the shutters to good use, it adds an element of safety and blocks out the light perfectly in the mornings. The shower was also very good, the pressure was perfect and it was very spacious, with a lit mirror and a heater. We were out often but the hosts were very lovely, Sten (I hope I spelt this correctly) was very helpful and answered all of our questions, we were even given extra time to checkout after running a little late. I would definitely recommend this place and will likely return on my next stay, I feel it would be perfect for a family of 4, especially in the summer months

Cosy and private cottage with full equipment near by the city center

Pros: It was just amazing. Me and my colleagues just loved the place. The private cottage with fully equipped kitchen is only 15-20 minutes from the RAI Amsterdam and city center. We loved the cosiness, cleanliness of all the rooms. The open space and view was just wonderfull. It reminded me my childhood. There are cows on the pasture and possibility to meet goats, rabbit and dogs in the farm of the owner. Owner pleased us with fresh milk. The cottage is next to the road but sufficiently secured against noise. 100% recommended!

Cons: We just weren't used to automatic lights in the house that were turned on by a motion sensor. When someone went to the bathroom at night, the lights came on. I don't know if there is an option to turn this off.

We would defenitely come back and recommend this place.

Pros: The Location was amazing. It was peacefully and calming. The view was just amazing. It was just a 10 min walk to the bus station. The furniture and the beds were super beautiful and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was just great.

Pros: The location was lovely, the place was lovely, everything there you needed, Christmas tree up and overall lovely place

Cons: Getting to the property from the closest bus stop includes walking on a main road or over a grassy verge which with suitcases was a tad inconvenient - nothing the host could have changed! The building was a little cold.
