The Hazel House

Very cosy great place to stay.

Pros: Great location. Central to everything. Very cosy. Coffee shop just underneath. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons: Only problem I had were the very steep narrow stairs. Being a little older I found them a bit difficult. However they did offer to take my baggage up for me.

A great stay, it allowed us to stay in a quiet place, see the beautiful Haarlem and Amsterdam

Pros: Great location, fast direct connections to Amsterdam and Schiphol, although located on a relatively quiet and nice street, close to shops and restaurants. Extremely helpful service.

Cons: A little noisy outside early in the morning but that was not a big problem.

The room was totally gorgeous and the location was incredible. The wine was also a lovely welcoming touch :)

Cons: There were some long black hairs in the bed and the water container on the coffee maker had mould in it (I don’t drink coffee but noticed the last day when I was leaving). Aside from those couple of little things the stay was incredible.

Nice central option in a beautiful city

Pros: It's a cute three-room inn above a coffeehouse in the heart of Haarlem. Easily reachable with the bus (a bus in a dedicated transitway with frequent service!) from Schiphol. I stayed in the top room- the \

Cons: Don't ignore comments on the stairs, but I won't say any more. The one thing I wish was that this room had a refrigerator- there are so many great options for groceries in the area most of which I couldn't partake of because there was no fridge. There is absolutely room for one, so Sabine, please get one- a tiny one- for this room! It's not the inn's fault but street noise was surprisingly loud.

Pros: The bed was so comfortable I had no trouble falling asleep, the location is a bit noisy but ear plugs are provided, it's not really much of a problem

Amazing Place to Stay

Pros: The room was fantastic, location was great and hosts were really kind. We absolutely loved our stay here!!

Cons: Unfortunately, there was a man yelling at the bus stop outside one of the nights we were there which meant we didn't get much sleep. Of course the hosts cannot be blamed for that though and it would certainly not stop us from coming back again!

Great one nighter

Pros: Clean and comfy. Great location. Very very convenient for airport bus.

Unique stay in Haarlem

Pros: Unique in the heart of the city, lovely café directly beneath it. Little extras like the bottle of wine and the flowers made it particularly special. Despite being on the road it was quiet and a lovely big window allowed to breeze at the back with no noise.

Cons: It wasn’t a problem for me, but there are very steep steps up to the room

Comfortable and extremely charming

Pros: Based in the middle of Haarlem, ideally located to explore the city. The bus stop to/ from the airport is literally just add door’s step. A very charming room, clean and comfortable and a terrific bathroom. The coffee shop downstairs has excellent Cappuccino and croissants, lovely service and adorable dogs.

Cons: The stairs are very steep, but you get used to it.
