Perfect stay in a quiet place close to Amsterdam

Pros: The apartment is lovely, very cosy and comfortable and with all the things you need for a short or a long stay. We stayed there 3 nights and from the moment that we got in we felt very comfortable. Me and my friend arrived at different times and the owner was very welcoming to both of us. The bath is an absolute gem, we went to a fitness event and after a whole day of sweating we really appreciated being able to relax. The house is very close to Haarlem train station, with connections to Amsterdam Central in 15 minutes, so perfect for a quite stay while visiting the city. Overall the place is fantastic and I will book it again if I go to Amsterdam.

Cons: Everything was very good and well thought. If I had to say something it would be that the heating never seemed to heat up properly so we felt a little cold at times, but we are both Spanish and it was raining and cold the whole time so it may have also been us :-)

It was a very comfortable and convenient stay in Pauline’s apartment.

Pros: It is well set up and comfortable. It is in a great location close to the station and easy walking to the main centre of Haarlem. The host Pauline is very friendly and helpful, especially in negotiating the stairs with luggage.

Cons: As indicated in the description the stairs are very steep to the apartment. But that is what you expect in a top storey apartment in Haarlem.

Pros: Home from home...Pauline was an excellent host from the start.So warm and welcoming. Great location with excellent facilities. Plenty of lovely restaurants and places to sample Haarlem hospitality. Great location for travel to Schiphol...Amsterdam and Keukenhof.
