Jumped at the chance to stay on a traditional house boat and so glad we did, will stay again!
Pros: Beautiful location in the canal belt, which is exactly what we were looking for. Easy walk from Central station and to other areas of the city. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique shops within walking distance. I was arriving in the evening and the owner left a key in a lock box, really well communicated. Very clean, plenty of space, beautiful terrace overlooking the canal and amazing shower! The extra blanket in the living room was a god send as I got quite cold on the first night, but there is heating (you just might have to adjust the radiators to get it to your liking.
Cons: Little bit of noise from local bars into the early hours, this was fine for us after we got used to it and was expected as other reviews mentioned it. Westertoren bells toll every 15 minutes. Took a while to adjust to this, particularly on the first night, it wasn't too much of a disturbance for us but worth being aware if you're a light sleeper! We became quite fond of them in the end. We also found the bell tower useful to have as a landmark close by, for navigating to and from the boat!

Pros: We loved everything from the House Boat, how comfortable it was to the location, not too busy but lively enough not to be too quiet, which is exactly what we wanted inAmsterdam, it was a good location. It was also very dog friendly, which was a huge win for us! We are absolutely booking again!
Cons: There was nothing we didnt like.

A charming and spotless houseboat in the perfect location for a true Amsterdam experience.
Pros: Staying on this houseboat was such a unique and memorable experience! The location was absolutely perfect—central yet peaceful—and the boat was spotless and full of charm. It gave us a true taste of Amsterdam living, even for just one night. Highly recommend for anyone seeking something special!

Beautiful, unique boathouse in an excellent location.
Pros: Houseboat Bonnie is a beautiful, unique property in the heart of the Jordaan area. It was an excellent location and very comfortable. Having the terrace was an added bonus and it was wonderful to enjoy a glass of wine in an evening and watch the world float by. We are already planning our return.
Cons: There was a little noise from a bar on the other side of the canal, but once I popped my earplugs in I slept like a log. I have some mobility issues and there were a couple of steps on and off the boat, but the handrails were helpful.

Pros: Location was excellent! Great access to some sites and trams. Also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby…. Although many were very busy and impossible to get into. Wonderful to have access to terrace to sit in sunshine away from street and watch canal parade of tourist boats go by.
Cons: Minor things…Bathroom door needs a bit of a tune up. Shower squeegee needs replacing.

Beautiful property, in a great location. Wonderful views and really made our stay. Would 100% come again.
Pros: Beautiful property in an amazing location. So close to many lovely bars, cafes and more. We stayed away from the busy central areas and this location was absolutely perfect so explore the outer quieter areas. Whilst still being very close to the central area and other attractions.
Cons: Nothing, it was all fantastic!
