Pros: The host was very kind and took excellent care of us during our stay. The location is perfect. we really enjoyed our 4-night stay with our two children under 10. They love the swing so much.

Cons: Just a small note—the stairs inside the accommodation are quite steep, so something to keep in mind

A unique and relaxing boat stay in a peaceful part of Amsterdam

Pros: Staying on this boat in Amsterdam was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the hosts were very welcoming, they even put slovenian flag on the boat during our stay. The location is peaceful yet just a short, easy trip to the city center. We especially loved the nearby Balinese and French restaurants—both amazing! Truly a unique and memorable stay.

Pros: Amazing location. A very short journey from the city centre, yet far enough away to feel truly secluded and relaxing. Hosts were excellent, very welcoming and helpful, thanks for everything. Highly recommend.

Pros: A wonderful stay. Marieke and Sander are very helpful and super nice people. The experience of staying on a ship one of the things to do absolutely in life, their then super new and with all the comforts. My son loved the swing on the bridge. Thank you for everything

Pros: Thank you for everything, Marieke & Sander - we really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam in general, and on your fantastic Coaster in particular! The kids loved it as much as we did, and apart from recommending your place to others (what we will surely do), we'll definitely come back!

Pros: Just book, take a jump on public transport in Amsterdam city centre and start enjoying a glass of wine at sunset on the waterfront before enjoying all the ship's wonderful ammenities. Go dutch at its very best.

Pros: Loved the decor and atmosphere. Great time swimming on the hot days, and wonderful kind hosts. Highly recommended.

A unique and restful space close to central Amsterdam but within its own vibrant locality.

Pros: Well designed and surprisingly spacious. It looked good and we quickly settled in and felt at home. The fridge and cupboards were generously preloaded and the microwave, coffee capsule machine and kettle gave us plenty of options. Sander set up a WhatsApp group before we arrived and gave us great suggestions of restaurants, bike hire shops and places to visit. The is a small but well chosen selection of books, in English and Dutch, about Amsterdam, the locality, boats and the people who live on them. There is also a chalkboard for guests to make recommendations to future visitors. The Eastern Docklands is a fascinating area, with a cycle ferry to North A’dam which is another developing and exciting area.

Cons: I couldn’t think of any way it could be improved when Sander asked for suggestions.

Nice staying on a boat

Pros: It was a great experience to sleep on a boot! It is a very nice room with everything you need and Mariieke & Sander are very nice people!

Cons: The boat is not right in the center but can be easily reached by bus or bike

Pros: Great hosts, we had a perfect stay and received a lot of recommendations on e.g. activities and food. They were very helpful and answered questions on short notice. It was very clean and comfortable and the Check-In has been very flexible.
