Houseboat Captain's Quarters in Harbour Amsterdam

Something different for a one night stay

Pros: Only a short bus ride from Amsterdam central and easy to find. Check in was easy with clear communication and we had everything we needed in the houseboat. We only stayed one night, but we could easily have stayed longer.

Cons: There was 3 of us staying, but only 2 large towels and 2 hand towels. This wasn’t a major problem with only staying 1 night, but another large towel would have been good.

Perfect short stay on a beautiful boat.

Pros: Location is perfect! Comfortable, clean and quiet.

Dream stay in the dam!

Pros: Lovely little place. Plenty room for two or even three people. Really quiet neighbourhood. Excellent cafe bar Joost a 20 min walk away.

Cons: A bit of a trek to get to public transport.

Friendly, fun, quirky property near to Central Amsterdam

Pros: Old world Dutch charm, clean tidy property beautiful sun deck

Cons: Nothing really it was exactly as described and in a beautiful friendly location

Nice comfortable boat and relaxing feel to it.

Pros: Lovely boat with more room than a hotel room. Felt homely. Comfy private beds. Nice to have a fridge.

Cons: Untidy area at the front. A little isolated. Not much around where the boat is.

Great stay in a lovely boat

Pros: The boat was in a very peaceful area with great public transport links into the center. Very comfortable and clean with everything you need for your stay. Fan's we're provided due to the hot weather also.

We loved our stay on the houseboat, it was unusual but so cosy and the host was very welcoming. Would love to stay again

Pros: Very cute and cosy, was in an interesting neighbourhood and very nice host. An unusual option for a stay in Amsterdam.

Cons: Less privacy, due to location moored next to the footpath and other people coming in and out of neighbouring houseboats.

Cons: The entrance stair to the front of the accommodation was difficult without a hand rail.
