Island Sleeping

Nice experience, but far from Amsterdam

Pros: The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful. It was clean and well organized, and breakfast is already provided in the accommodation itself, which made things much easier.

Cons: We had an issue with check-in. Google Maps sent the accommodation location to the other side of the river. I walked a long distance to get there and ended up having to take an Uber to find it. Aside from that, we later discovered that there is a bus stop about a 20-minute walk from the house, but it still takes around 1 hour to get to Amsterdam.

Great one nighter

Pros: I did not use the breakfast. The area is beautiful but it is n bit of a walk to the nearest public transport. The accommodation was good value for money and for the one night I stayed over. A new experience staying on the water.

Pros: Great attentive hosts, breakfast and quirky location.

Cons: A bit of noise from nearby airport but it did die down overnight. Just a very minor comment

Pros: Our hosts were great. The place is really cozy and cute.

Cons: At the beginning we couldn't belive there is no wifi, but at the end we realized that was actually good. We spent great quality time together and enjoyed it even more. Nice break from the screen. 😀

Pros: Very nice and clean houseboat with a feel-good atmosphere. Incredibly helpful landlords. Good price.

Cons: The temperature was below zero and the gas tank must have frozen, so the water couldn't get hot when showering. But the landlord reacted very quickly and tried to fix it.

Beautiful Houseboat with a nice Host

Pros: This Houseboat is a dream! The location is quiet and peaceful, but near to Trainstations in Hoofddorp or Schiphol. The Boat itsself is really comfy and has a very personal and unique style with everything you need in it. I really loved sleeping on the water. I also really appreciated the bikes on the site to discover the area. Dominique was very friedly and always there to help or answer questions.

Cons: In the daytime you could hear the planes from Schiphol Airport and on Weekends the Marina turned to a busy place. But that was not such a big thing for me and didnt affect the nice holiday i spent here.

Amazing venue. Clean, well equipped. Cosy and special.

Pros: Highly recommend! Great stay for a few nights with very helpful and friendly people. I will come back.

Great adventure close to Schiphol

Pros: Dominique is so nice and helpful. It was our first time on a houseboat, so it was an adventure, but everything went fine. Little place but practically furnished. We' ve found everything what we needed. Keukenhof, Amsterdam and the sea is within half an hour by car. Good stay for 3 nights.

Cons: The airplains stop between 23-7, so it helps to wake up early :)
