Value for money

Pros: The B&B was located close to the center of old town and there is a cheap parking lot close. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated. All in all a good place to stay and value for money

Cons: The pillows weren't very comfy and might be due for an upgrade. The floor in the bathroom can also use a good scrub. If the windows in the room are open the street noise is horrendous.

A lovely, cosy B&B in Hoorn

Pros: Location is good, right in the centre. You can park about 3 minute walk.away for 5.50 euro. Astrid met us, settled us in then we did n't see anyone until breakfast as it is unmanned. Beds were comfy, lights, sockets all good. Bathroom.a bit old fashioned but ticked all the boxes. Tea, coffee also plentiful. Breakfast was really good.

Cons: Nothing. Steep stairs but I knew this by other reviews.

Pros: We liked the central position and the friendliness of the owner and family

Cons: The steep and narrow stairs are a challenge with heavy suitcases but you only carry them up once so you just have to put up with it

Centrally located and nice accomodation with a very friendly host

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host (thank you, Astrid!), nice room, good breakfast. Centrally located.

Cons: Missing air condition: the room was 28 degrees when we arrived at 8:30pm. Then it would at least be great to have something cool to drink in the room or floor.

Very comfortable, great location and a super breakfast.

Pros: The room was great and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Location is ideal for the centre of town and the railway station, but also quiet.

Cons: Initial entry was using a keysafe and code, which I struggled with slightly as the instructions had only been sent in Dutch and the details were in the middle of a long message I didn't understand. My fault that I don't speak the local language, but it could have been a little easier. However this was quickly resolved when I arrived.

Recommend for a stay after the crowds of Amsterdam

Pros: Excellent breakfast, good value for money. Location is short walk from station and downtown. Our room was fine, very clean and quiet at night. Easy short train ride on to visit Enkhuizen outdoor museum.
