Lovely short stay in the middle of a beautiful Dutch villange

Pros: Very cozy and beautiful room, lots of amenities like shower gel, coffee, tea and a small fridge. At night it was raining and it was just very romantic to sleep in the attic room. The breakfast was lovely. Parking is free directly in front of the property which is a big plus. The host provided us instructions which were perfect and easy.

Cons: We would have liked to have two blankets and a little more information about the size of the bed which however was super comfy.

Great stay in Assendelft

Pros: Nice location close to Amsterdam. Very nice Dutch cottage style house. Very good breakfast

Pros: We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

Cons: Nothing really. I wish I could take my kids there but I must say I really enjoyed the fact that there were none around for our romantic city break.

Keukenhof visit

Pros: Easy check-in and good communication. Nice hostess and nice ready-made breakfast set.

Cons: Sink on the side of the bedroom. The insulation in the room is a bit poor and the floor is quite cold.

Pros: The place was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The owner of the house Cyntia is very friendly. There is a beach wÿk aan zee in 20 minutes from the house and a train station. I recommend that place.

Pros: Beautiful location, lots of attention to detail, hosts were so friendly and helpful, supermarket just over the road.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Sfeervol, authentiek en centraal gelegen

Pros: Mooie kleine sfeervolle woning / kamer, heerlijke uitgebreid ontbijt

Cons: Stijl trapje naar de slaapkamer op 1 etage

Pros: Een zeer uitgebreid zalig ontbijt, heel sfeervol ingericht.

Sehr schöne urige Unterkunft.

Pros: Das Doppelzimmer lag im Obergeschoss eines sehr urigen Häuschens in der Dorfmitte. Gegenüber lag ein großer Supermarktparkplatz mit kostenloser Parkmöglichkeit. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet. Danke für die kleinen Leckrigkeiten. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Die Dusche hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, Shampoo und Duschgel standen bereit. Vor allen Dingen hat uns das Frühstück überzeugt. Danke für die freundliche Bedienung.

Cons: Der Flughafen Amsterdam hat verschiedenste An- oder Abflugrouten. In unserer einen Nacht vor Ort, war halt die über dem Haus dran. Den letzten Flieger haben wir gegen 2.00 Uhr gehört, den ersten gegen 5.00 Uhr. Da kann der Vermieter nichts für, aber lärmempfindliche Menschen sollten es halt wissen. Die Treppe zum Zimmer ist relativ steil, mit schwerem Gepäck bestimmt etwas schwierig, das war bei uns aber nicht der Fall.

Super Gastgeberin, wir habe es sehr genossen!

Pros: Hat alles was man braucht, Parkplatz neben der Tür, super Kaffee und Frühstück.

Cons: Für 2 Nächte super, sonst ist das Zimmer ein wenig klein
