Lovely characterful accommodation.

Pros: Quirky little hideaway, situated down a quiet canal path. The property is characterful outside and in: the kitchen is very sweet, quaintly decorated with an efficient little oven, seating area and fridge. Very nice modern downstairs bathroom. Spiral stairs lead up to the loft-style bedroom which has velux windows. A few minutes walk from a decent supermarket and only 15-20 minutes walk into Zaandam centre. Very comfortable, large bed :-).

Cons: Getting off the drive and across the very narrow bridge was a little hair-raising at first! Low head-room on the stairs caught us out a few times and due to my creaky (old!) knees, I found the spiral stairs challenging after a long day out.

Pros: Delightful little spacious cottage on a small canal. walking distance to shops. bus to the city. parking easy. Renovated bathroom excellent.

Cons: limited cooking facilities , could use a washing machine and clothes dry rack for travellers. spiral stairs to bedroom a bit tricky. would love a TV

Pros: The whole experience was lovely, the setting of our stay was idilic. Roxanne was so helpful and there was even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. Me and my partner will be back

Pros: Ein wundervoller Ort an nem kleinen Kanal gelegen. Superschöne kleine Unterkunft mit allem drum und dran. Eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin mit viel Charme. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Ich komme wieder!!

Cons: Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind schwierig, dass liegt aber eher an der Lage des Grundstücks und den kleinen engen Gassen. Das ist aber Meckern auf ganz hohem Niveau. Mir sind sonst absolut keine Mängel aufgefallen.

Perfect place to stay.

Pros: This is a nice quiet location just a short walk to central Zaandam. Roxane was very helpful and thoughtful with a lot of little touches that made this a perfect stay.

Pros: Knus huisje, super schoon en goed verzorgd aan alle kanten. Duidelijke instructies mbt de sleuteloverdracht en gunstig gelegen.

Cons: De keuken heeft geen kookgelegenheid (wel een klein oventje). En er is een naastgelegen kerk waarvan de klokken dag en nacht elk half uur slaan.

Maravillosa estancia

Pros: La casa es preciosa y llena de detalles, el area es una maravilla, con su canal y sus patitos, nos sentíamos como en casa desde el primer momento. Muy de agradecer los detalles de la botella de vino y la fruta. A la casa no le falta detalle, tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y acogedora. Nos encantó!

Cons: Había obras al lado y un poco de ruido por la mañana. Poca luz natural abajo

Un angolino di Olanda

Pros: Appartamento provvisto di tutto, molto intimo e accogliente. Si affaccia su un pittoresco canale pur rimanendo non troppo distante dal centro.

Cons: Un po' scomodo avere il bagno nel piano di mezzo perché nel salire le scale bisogna stare attenti a non battere la testa. Tuttavia il bagno è ampio e molto comodo.
