Super clean, roomy, comfortable and handy

Pros: The floor heating was great. Exceptionally clean, roomy and comfortable. The location was extremely good - close to the centre of town, buses, rail and shops.

Pros: Great location, airy apartment with good facilities within the apartment. Easy walking distance from the station for most people. Good for self catering.

Cons: Very little not to like. A few small things would make it better such as: - curtains to help with the blackout of the bedrooms, - the wardrobe in the twin room was very creaky so the hinges need oiling, - there was no hand wash in the toilet - the towels provided were too small for half of our group. - pillows were hard If these things were changed it would make the place pretty perfect.

Lovely bars and restaurants. Train station nearby making it easy to explore.

Pros: Location (although noisy on street at front, the bedrooms were nice and quiet). A great light and airy space. Well-equipped kitchen and coffee machine. Comfy beds.

Pros: Pieter was the perfect host, communication was easy via text. He kindly offered to collect us from the train station because it was raining and he was near. Also recommended a cycle hit company which we used. Apartment was clean and tidy, towelling and shower accessories provided

Nice short stay in Haarlem center

Pros: The host was really great, met me in front of the apartment and advised on the nearby parking, which was a shopping mall garage and convenient and safe. It was a short stay for us, so location in the city center was really helpful. We also enjoyed fresh beautiful flowers he brought. After checkout we forgot something, and host contacted us immediately about that. Very much appreciated.

My sister and I had a great week in Haarlem, accommodation almost perfect!

Pros: It was very close to the town centre and supermarket round the corner. Excellent cafe near by, not far to the station. Brand new bathroom, good bed.

Cons: Just a few little additions would make it perfect, short supply of cutlery, we had one teaspoon.. no decent cork screw, one mug was half broken. Windows quite hard to operate due to the old mechanism. Quite noisy from the street but we did expect that as soon as close to town.
