Bloemendaal Hotel Collection Apartments

Pros: Excellent apartment. Great staff. They were really attentive when required. We used public transport only during our week. Bloemendaal station is a 10 minute walk away and has great connections to Haarlem (4mins) and Amsterdam (20mins).. To Zandvoort beech there is a 20 minute walk to Overveen. The beech is great and the F1 track is free to wander around. Bloemendaal itself is a very relaxed quiet area, with good cafes, bakery’s and a supermarket. Ps the stairs are steep… I’m over 50 and coped really well. Would recommend if you are self catering and need a quiet base…. PPS try the Krocketts! PPPS. Buy train tickets via the NS app and save 1.5 euros per ticket… PPPPS. Ubers best value to and from the airport to the apartment… apologies for misspelling and town names.

Cons: The village view apartment has 2 double beds (one is a sofa double). This was misrepresented on the booking.com site. The hotel gave us a free room to compensate… great service

Nice and spacious.

Pros: Modern, spacious, comfortable and convenient. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons: One bedroom had a glass panel in the door which apart from being odd, also meant that an emergency exit sign shone straight into the room so it was not dark.

Pros: The apartment was very comfortable, equipped kitchen, a cozy bedroom, and the sofa bed is perfect for kids. Highly recommend.

Pros: Location was perfect for us. Parking was always available. Our studio appointment was comfortable and quiet.

Cons: We have no complaints.

Top studio in a top location at the top of a house!

Pros: The property was a studio at the top of an old Haarlem town house only a short walk from the high street of Bloemendaal and the shops. Parking on the street was no problem and it was only a short drive to Haarlem, the beach and local countryside. The studio was high up, with plenty of windows and so was full of light, and there were views over the backs of the houses. Everything was clean and the kitchen well suited for making simple dinners. Comfy sofa too.

Cons: The studio itself was amazing, only it was at the top of the house, requiring us to climb 55 very steep stairs. This is mentioned in the description but not in detail, it was a bit of a surprise. If you are not so fit or dislike tight stairs, take one of the apartments on the lower floors!

Pros: Lovely apartment in good location in attractive suburb/village.

Cons: Very steep stairs to apartment, we were okay but would have been difficult for guests with young children, older adults or those with mobility issues. We feel the property was overpriced compared with similar properties we have stayed in but this may have been due to the season and high demand for accommodation.

Pros: It was in a lovely apartment in a nice village. It was all you could ask for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was street parking but good.

Cons: No bus service. No out door seating area with this appointment. Better information on how to work cooker/ hob and other equipment.

Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. The furniture were clean .

Cons: The only issue is you have to clime the stairs which really difficult for old people.
