Absolutely wonderful and sweetest place you could stay.
Pros: I think this is the most unique and surprisingly comfortable stay you are going to find in the entirety of Amsterdam. Perfect for couples to just feel like literally you are the part of the city but also incredibly secluded because from the outside you'd never think someone is living inside these tiny homes.

Pros: The location was very nice...beautifull space/place Our door code didn't work but we called Sweets and were able to get inside within a couple off minutes
Cons: We couldn't get the heater started...and the toilet was very low

A privilege to stay in a bridge house!
Pros: Fascinating place to stay. Has all you need despite the small space. Loved watching the bridge open! When we had a query, the staff were very responsive and lovely.
Cons: Would prefer a better washbasin (with a plug) and a separate one in the toilet.

Unique and history-filled place
Pros: It is a great spot with a privileged view of the channels. This is something unique and beautiful. For me, that is the only thing that makes the place worthwhile. It is small but cozy, decorated in continuation of the original function of the building. I loved staying in this unique and history-filled place, still holding the original switchboard and the actual chairs controllers used to have. I really appreciated the book explaining the role this post played in the extensive network of bridge controllers in Amsterdam. It worked great for us.
Cons: I had some issues with getting the software to open the door to work. The time response from the host was not that swift. It wasn't much of an issue since I was doing this from the train. This was mainly on me, since I was not able to find the correct app in AppStore. Still, the system is set up in a way that if you are planning to get into the room exactly at 4 pm when they open it for you, it might be difficult if you experience some sort of setback, and you might want to consider having a coffee somewhere while you sort things out. The room has some nice LED lights to set up a nice chill mood in the evenings. Still, those do not work very well. There seems to be some false contact that makes them flicker or just shut off. Regarding other amenities, the Wi-Fi was not great, and I had issues when joining a couple of video conferences. After a while, I restarted the router, and that seemed to solve the issue but I never did an intensive use of the Wi-Fi again. The place is small and is equipped with that in mind. The fridge is very small, enough to store a bottle of wine, some fruits, and perhaps some cheese or cold meats. Not much more space. No microwave or food-heating device besides an electric kettle. If you don't like eating out that much, you will have to go for soups, salads, or good old cheese and bread.

Pros: Cool, funky property. Comfy bed. Near the bus lines I needed to get around.
Cons: Exceedingly loud. Every time a car passed over the adjacent bridge, it sounded like the world was ending. They provided ear plugs, but only helped so much.
