Amsterdam Canal Guest Apartment

Comfortable and welcoming.

Pros: The location was fantastic on a lovely canal and reasonably close proximity to many tourist attractions. Owner was lovely and very helpful. Comfortable bed. Cafe and restaurant very close. The apartment had great supplies such as coffee for machines, toiletries.

Cons: Owner is very careful to point out that this is an apartment, with no cooking facilities (microwave to heat food only) and steep steps down to the entrance. It could be improved with a small seating area (have to watch tv lying on bed); tv could be on a higher stand and handrail for entrance steps. But overall these are small things and price reflects the facilities.

Perfect stay in Amsterdam!

Pros: The location could not have been better. Right on the canal and less than a five minute walk to the nearest metro, from which you could travel to anywhere in the city. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The lady who greeted us was very helpful and welcoming, and Guido was an excellent host. Highly recommend!

Information provided by the host was excellent. Made finding places easy. Very central location.

Pros: There was no breakfast, but we were aware of that prior to booking. It was a self-contained apartment. Central to the Museum District. Easy to get around.

Perfectly Central Location

Pros: Location was amazing - very central & all walkable. Great coffee machine & greatly appreciated the wine on arrival.

Cons: A hand rail to get up/down the narrow stairs. Height of the bath to get in/out of TV on a low unit - maybe mounted on a wall for easier viewing Provided hotplates but no cookware to have ability to use. Perhaps provide a hand towel for bathroom & additional tea towel

Stunning central apartment with fantastic host!

Pros: Location was exceptional, Lovely bench over looking the Amstel river right at your door step! Host was Absolutely brilliant and gave us an extensive guide on the local area. Apartment had anything you could think of needing as well as a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge! Will definitely be booking again when we return to Amsterdam!

Very enjoyable

Pros: Good size room. Great location. Lots of storage for suitcases.

Cons: The stairs are rather steep. Carting a suitcase up and down was not easy, thankfully there’s only a few.

Our stay was amazing. Our host was more than accomodating in everything and the location was spot on.

Pros: The location was superb, walking distance to everything. The apartment was clean and perfectly suited all our needs. The host, Guido was so thoughtful and kind providing recommedations. This exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend.
