Luxury Flower Market Apartment

Pros: Lovely apartment which covers everything you need… Would definitely recommend. Nightlife / plenty of restaurants on your doorstep.

Amazing Location but expensive and few flaws

Pros: The location is 11/10 — right near the Flower Market and canals, close to Uniqlo and the main shopping area, with heaps of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby. The bed was very comfortable, and the space overall looked modern, stylish, and clean. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like wine and food in the fridge, snacks, toiletries, and soaps — very generous. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the host was friendly and helpful throughout. The living room was cosy, and it was great having a TV in the bedroom. There’s also a small porch for smoking, if that’s your thing. Overall, it’s a nicely decorated space in an unbeatable location.

Cons: Unfortunately, some things didn’t match expectations. There are photos on the listing that don’t reflect the actual apartment, which felt misleading. I was under the impression the stovetop worked, but was later told the local municipality doesn’t allow cooking — this was a major surprise and would have influenced our booking decision. The kitchen is essentially unusable: no working stovetop, no microwave, just an oven/microwave-grill hybrid. This isn’t clearly stated and should be made more obvious in the listing. The layout is a bit unusual — the toilet and shower are in separate small rooms right beside the kitchen and living area, not near the bedroom. It’s not necessarily bad, just inconvenient. The bedroom itself has a sink, which was handy. You can sometimes hear water draining through pipes in the bedroom area as the room you stay in is connected to a bigger building. Also, noise in general was a bit of an issue — drunk people late at night outside the window, and early morning street noise made it hard to sleep in. However, this is the small price you may pay for the amazing location! The apartment is compact — expected for the location, but still worth noting.

Cons: Needed more than 1 pillow per person in the bed. My only issue was linen and pillows.

Super stylish high class flat

Pros: It is not the first time we are staying at this host properties. As usual - very high standards of hospitality and flat. Stylish, appropriately equipped, very comfortable bedding, crystal clean bathrooms, high class toiletries. We just loved it. Yes, the price is not cheap, but it is fair for the quality you get and, for course, for the location.

This charming flat exceeded our expectations with outstanding hospitality

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at this lovely and charming flat! The location was perfect. The host exceeded all expectations by generously stocking the fridge with a variety of food for us to enjoy – from milk and cheese to yogurt and even blueberries. Such a thoughtful touch! Additionally, the host provided high-quality toiletries and soap, all from Rituals, which was a delightful and uncommon surprise. We were genuinely impressed by the attention to detail. On top of that, the flexibility with check-in and check-out times made our stay even more comfortable. We highly recommend this flat to anyone!

Cons: The only minor improvement we’d suggest is adding a few pillows to the couch for extra comfort

Pros: The hosts were fantastic. The apartment exceeded all expectations. It was spotless, the host even stocked up the fridge to get us started! The apartment is in a prime location, with lots of nightlife We had a fantastic stay in Amsterdam and would definitely book this apartment again.

Everything you need and more

Pros: I love the attention to detail, the cleanliness. Saskia is good at this! It is refreshing to find the place clean, smelling fresh and with everything to have a relaxing and excellent stay. The host goes the extra mile and makes sure everything you could wish is there apon arrival. It is greatly appreciated, thank you so much. x
