A pleasant stay in a very clean and well equipped property;
Pros: Location is pretty, very secluded although close to other properties which didn't disturb us at all. There is distant traffic noise (road and air) but not obtrusive. Beds are comfortable and facilities are very good, including the jacuzzi which is a welcome bonus. Access and instructions are well managed.
Cons: (This was my own fault for not checking maps more thoroughly) There are no convenient food stores or restaurants nearby, and as we travelled by train and taxi this could have been a problem. Fortunately we brought plenty of supplies for our three days!

A very pleasant stay in a beautiful environment with ducks as neighbors.
Pros: Spacious rooms with a great sense of volume. All the comfort you could wish for. A wonderful jacuzzi to relax in. Just a short distance from the lovely city of Haarlem. Free parking at the nearby IKEA makes things easy to take the train, and from there it’s only a 15-minute train ride right into the heart of Amsterdam. It’s also very easy to reach the coast and enjoy an endless sandy beach. The beauty of the Netherlands everywhere you look. And the kindness of the people makes the experience even more special.
Cons: The mattresses were too soft for our liking, but nothing serious.

Excellent property and relaxing location.
Pros: Outstanding location, the ducks kept us company most days, they were very friendly. Amazing space both inside and out. Coffee maker was a godsend. Generally loved the time we spent there. Very private and a great relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Gas hob was non functioning, but we got around it by using disposable barbecues. Single beds were uncomfortable and hard, along with quite a claustrophobic feel to the bedroom, what with no windows. We were unprepared and didn't have any basics like cooking oil or body wash/soap, which we were kind of expecting. The provided hand soap was ok for the first evening, as we arrived late we didn't have the energy to travel to the nearest convenience store...which was a 20 minute walk. Advice for next time...bring a few more basics to get through the first night.

Unusual spot, nice experience.
Pros: The space! Big nice living room and a beautiful outside area. Really comfy beds:-) The fact that it was close to Schiphol.
Cons: The ducks were nice but a little loud:-) They’re also a bit messy. We drove through more of a small industrial area to get there which wasn’t quite as nice. That made us think that we had made a mistake, but the area where the bungalows were were much better!

Pros: We had a great stay in the Bungalow, very clean and spacious and set in beautiful surroundings, Amsterdam city was very easy to get into as you can use the train or bus park and ride from Ikea in Haarlem,would 100% recommend

Amazing neighbourhood, outstanding landlord, spacious accommodation and excellent jacuzzi!
Pros: Thank you very much for hosting us in your bungalow. The accommodation was easy to find, there is also a parking. The owner personally met us and showed us the property. Everything is as in the pictures and even better. I recommend it to everyone!

Romantic stay in Vijfhuizen
Pros: A lovely bungalow with a nice feature. Local tame ducks that are happy to see a visitor. They don't hesitate to come inside if you let them. The bungalow has a jacuzzi. During our stay we encountered the storm Poly that let a fallen tree across the only road in and out. The owner got rid of it within 5 minutes with a chain saw... a superman...
Cons: All was fine.
