4 to 6 persons Tulpenacker waterfront

Pros: The location in a village/small town is perfect as it is quiet but with easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit (Keukenhof, Leiden, Scheveningen, Schiphol and Amsterdam). The bike ride around the lake was great. We enjoyed kayaking in front of the villa too. A great place to have an active leisurely holiday.

Pros: Amazing place to stay and visit all the region. Very confortable and clean. A waterfront villa with beautiful landscape and many opportunities for sports.

Cons: The villa is for up to 6 persons but there is only one bathroom.

The place definitely exceeded my expectations!

Pros: The location was very attractive – it was close to every major city (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Gouda). The host was very friendly and eager to chat. Thanks to his kindness, it was possible to rent kayaks/SUPs for free and travel through the nearby canals. The view from the terrace was wonderful. The cottage was of a very high standard and had all possible amenities (fast WiFi, air conditioning, kitchen utensils). We have very fond memories of our stay and sincerely recommend it; we will definitely come back again.

Cons: No insect nets. Due to the proximity of farms, there were quite a lot of flies, mosquitoes, and spiders.

Wonderful holiday in a great villa

Pros: No breakfast - self catering. The whole experience was a joy. Excellent communication, a warm welcome, beautifully furnished villa with everything we needed, adjacent parking and free use of the canoe & boards. The location was ideal for us to visit Leiden and also other locations in the Country e.g. Het Loo, Zuiderzee Museum, Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller museum. There was even an excellent supermarket, Dirk, in the small town and an ever changing panorama of birds, cows (one of which fell into the water - apparently it frequently happens) and other wildlife. Would recommend to others

A peaceful stay in a beautiful place.

Pros: A beautiful location with birds on the water. It was peaceful and comfortable. We were made very welcome and wished we could have stayed longer.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Unique & comfortable waterside stay

Pros: This place is a hidden gem 💎 Beautifully decorated holiday homes at the waterside with sweeping views of a landscape that could not be more Dutch. The homes are very well equipped (hand soap, dishwasher tablets, paper kitchen towels etc) and staff are very welcoming - especially Dog Mick 🐶, the star of the place. We were here in the dead of winter, with a big storm raging, so we couldn't really enjoy the outside, but in summer it must be very nice to sit on the big terrace along the water. PS go to nearby Paal 7 restaurant, it's very good 😊

Cons: To be honest, the town itself (Roelofarendsveen) is not particularly interesting or attractive. So go for the peace & quiet. And note that each holiday home only has one bathroom and one toilet, so if you're staying with 6 people, you'll have to make a planning 📝

Pros: Wir hatten im Tulpenacker eine Mega Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist so ein idyllischer Ort, die Lage ist perfekt. Das Angebot dort SUP, Kajak kostenlos zunutzen , haben wir sehr genossen. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet , auch ein Grill wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Kim und Erwin sind zuvorkommende, sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder......

supertolle Ferientage an einem wunderschönen Ort - es war perfekt :-)

Pros: Die wunderschöne Ferienanlage mit den modernen Ferienhäusern an idyllischer Lage hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt, man hat Privatsphäre im eigenen Haus und auf der Veranda. Die Ferienhäuser sind sehr gut eingerichtet. Zudem konnten wir unser Auto direkt am Haus parken. SUP's und Kanu's standen kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Elektronische Fahrräder und/oder ein elektrisches Boot konnten unkompliziert gemietet werden. Speziell erwähnen möchten wir die Freundlichkeit der ganzen Gastgeberfamilie. Wir haben uns sehr aufgehoben gefühlt. Besten Dank für wundervolle Ferientage im Tulpenacker.

Cons: Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden.

Pros: L'emplacement est parfait, il fait très calme. Le logement est confortable. L'accès est facile

Cons: Les heures d'ouverture de la réception ne sont pas affichées. Peut être sur le site internet mais je n'ai pas trouvé. J'ai posé la question par mail, j'ai reçu une réponse rapidement

Einmalige Lage am Wasser

Pros: Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig. Man hat die Möglichkeit sich kostenlos SUPs und Kajaks auszuleihen. Auch das Leihen eines Elektrobootes gegen Gebühr ist möglich und auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert. Durch den ganzen Ort ziehen sich viele kleine Kanäle. Es ist wunderschön, den Ort mit dem Boot zu erkunden. In einer halben Stunde mit dem Auto erreicht man viele schöne Orte, wie zum Beispiel Amsterdam, Noordwijk an Zee, Lisse mit dem Keukenhof, Den Haag, … Auch Radtouren bieten sich an.
