Pros: Loved the decor of the place, it feels like you're transported back in time, with a modern twist. The room was cosy, even though the ceiling is pretty low at times. The location is fantastic if you're visiting the center of Woerden.

Cons: Not really a complaint, but I did hit my head on the wooden beams more than once because they are quite low.

Pros: A beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. Excellent food .

Cons: I could hear the noise from the bar/restaurant while trying to sleep. It was not too noisy but audible.

Best experience in a hotel.

Pros: Stadshotel Van Rossum is worth every euro. The rooms are spacious, clean, full of personal touches like a little sowing kit, bathrobes, slippers, luxury washing siaps, herbal teas etc. The bed & pillows are the best I have ever slept in. The facilities are second to none. The food is beyond delicious & the staff are knowledgable, helpful & super friendly. It is an amazing hotel.

Pros: Great location, cool interior, comfortable. Interesting history. 24/7 front desk. Mostly helpful staff. Restaurant and bar downstairs makes it lively.

Cons: The room was quite dark. Overhead lighting would be a big improvement. The safe coding system wasn't working properly, but a staff person gave me a key.

Beautiful location and hotel - highly recommend

Pros: I’m so pleased we found this hotel, it’s an absolute gem. The location - Woreden is a lovely quiet small town. We were lucky that the local market was on during our stay. The hotel is really stunning. It’s well presented on the outside and throughout. Incredibly clean and tidy and everything feels high quality. Spacious rooms (we had 2 rooms booked to accommodate our family). Comfy beds, good showers and storage for our stay. Short walk to the train station (about 10 mins) and short train journey to Utrecht. We also visited Kasteel Dehaar. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely book again.

Cons: The only negative was one of the rooms we booked would have benefitted from additional lighting. Whilst I appreciate the theme of ambient lighting, room 6 was quite dark even when all the lamps were switched on. room 7 was better

Super hotel. Definitely stay again if returning to the area

Pros: The hotel was beautiful - very nice bedroom full of character, comfy bed and shower. Coffee machine. TV with one or two English channels. Downstairs the bar and restaurant area is very smart and well laid out. Food is pretty good and it's an enjoyable place to relax. The hotel is well located - you can walk to the town in just a few minutes, and the train station is a 10-15 minute walk. There's a market (weekly I think) that takes place in the square just next to the hotel.
