A good value stay for an out of season trip to this coastal area.
Pros: The hotel is not far from the Dunes area and extensive cycle paths and walks. Our room was a good size with a recently refurbished bathroom a separate area with storage, a fridge and a chair. The bed was comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of items on offer. The town with its restaurants and bars is a 10 minute stroll away as is the amazing beach.
Cons: The hotel is quite noisy - mainly because of the hard flooring and wooden stairs. In our room which was downstairs we were very aware of other guests coming and going. This was not a huge problem for an out of season stay but might be an issue at busier times. All parking in Egmond aan Zee is charged by the day and not allocated. We parked easily but in busy periods with so much holiday accommodation this might be more tricky.

Good stay
Pros: Good location, the dunes right around the corner. And city center in 5 mins walk distance. Nice room, had first floor with view to the ascending sun. Great! Breakfast boring, not very creative. No scrambled eggs, only cooked eggs. Best thing were the fresh baked croissants.
Cons: The doors were extremely difficult to close quietly, so there was a lot of door banging, especially in the evening and morning. Walls were thin, you hear neighbors and their TV. But they respected quiet hours from 10pm on.

Good option, value for money
Pros: Easy location, close to the beach front - walking distance, and walking distance into and out of the town. Staff were kind, and breakfast offered sufficient.

Pros: Sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich, gute Vorhänge an den Fenstern, so dass es Nachts komplett dunkel ist, ruhige Lage, leckeres Frühstück, 10 min zu Fuß zum Strand, direkt an den Dünen
Cons: durchgelegene Matratze, die sehr schönen Lampen im Zimmer waren leider alle sehr dunkel, die Duschkabine kann man nicht verschließen, so dass das Badezimmer nach dem Duschen komplett nass ist, die Lüftung im Badezimmer ist recht schwach, hellhöriges Haus

Pros: Das Hotel ist fußläufig zum Strand, ca. 8 min. Das Zimmer mit Balkon ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ist ein bisschen kleiner, aber dafür ganz neu und mit Handtuchheizung.
Cons: Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Was wir nicht verstanden haben ist, das der Zimmersafe im Schrank ganz unten auf dem Boden angebracht wurde.... man muß jedes mal auf die Knie gehen damit man ihn Öffnen bzw. Schließen kann. Turnübungen! Die Matratzen könnten auch ausgetauscht werden, sie sind etwas durchgelegen.

Schöner Urlaub
Pros: Schönes Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, toller Frühstücksraum und Möglichkeit draußen zu frühstücken, nettes Personal, die Lage war gut.
Cons: Das sich mitten in der Nacht sich Leute im Nebengebäude draußen unterhalten haben(war so warm und das Fenster war geöffnet).

Pros: Mooie locatie aan de duinen dichtbij het strand, op loopafstand. Mooi ingerichte kamer met balkon. De aanwezigheid van een koffiemachine en waterkoker was zeer fijn.
Cons: De aanwezigheid van een föhn is wenselijk, de ontbijtzaal is relatief krap voor de hoeveelheid gasten in het hotel.
