Peaceful and comfortable

Pros: As a family, we had an absolutely fantastic stay at DW Castricum. The home offers a luxurious stay for the entire family - every detail has been taken into consideration, from the layout of the house to children's facilities. The calm and serene surroundings have lots to offer - autumn season made it extra special. The town centre is worth a visit, and the tips provided by the owners were worthwhile. As commented by other guests, brothers Raymon and Remco were welcoming and always ready to go out of their way to help. The home is an easy train ride to anywhere in the country and has great bike routes to the sea via dunes. Highly recommended to anyone looking to escape busy city life and have a touch of the countryside.

An amazing holiday stay

Pros: I want to say that staying at DW Castricum was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. Raymon and his brothers have gone above and beyond to renovate and decorate this amazing accomodation. It is a short express train ride to Amsterdam Central. And then you return to the peace and tranquility of their beautiful home. Nothing was to much trouble for them. And the local shops are very plentiful. I would highly recommend this stay if you are visiting Amsterdam

Cons: Nothing everything was perfect

A great stay!

Pros: Everything was super nice and new. Great house and location. Walking distance to the train station.

Simply superb

Pros: Brilliant new accommodation and facilities, located within 10 minutes walk of easy rail links to Amsterdam, Haarlem or Alkmaar. Equally ideal for our self drive tour of other attractions such as Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans and Volendram. We didnt have time for the nearby sand dunes and beach. The managing brothers were ever so helpful with suggestions and practicalities, from supermarkets to attractions and pastries!\

Cons: One pedantic detail: Kitchen cupboards were marginally too high for two of our party who stood under 5'3\

Great apartment, great location, great travel network

Pros: The property was large, lots of space for our family. The location was great- Castricum is a lovely place with fantastic beaches nearby and a very handy train station!

Cons: The microwave oven was the only thing we didn’t like and that’s just because we couldn’t quite figure out how to work it.

Spacious and comfortable holiday home

Pros: Everything was perfect. The host brothers were really friendly and responsive. The place was really clean, spacious and comfortable. It was actually our favourite accommodation during our trip in europe, would 100% recommend! It was also only a short distance to Amsterdam by car.

Pros: Great place to stay, spacy, well equiped, very confortable. The hosts are really friendly. Would definitely repeat the experience.

Cons: Would have been interesting if we could have been able to rent bikes - but I guess the owners are already working in that.

Perfect stay in Castricum

Pros: Everything was great. We came as a big group and rented out 3 of the houses. It was a perfect stay. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. The houses are modern, luxurious and spacious. There is everything you need, like good wifi, a well equipped kitchen and even a washer/dryer unit. Nothing to complain.

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean, great playground

Pros: The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. I have never seen such attention to every detail. Raymon was very nice and welcoming. We appreciated also the large playground for the children just outside the house.
