Cosy Cottage in a Charming Area

Pros: Perfect size cottage separate from the hosts house. It was warm and cosy, and everything was clean. The view was just so nice too. Very picturesque, very calming. A perfect BnB. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and we immediately felt right at home. By the end of our booking, we just wanted to stay longer!

absolutely amazing

Pros: everything was perfect! cozy cabin, clean, beautiful place with a very friendly host.. enjoy our stay here for 2 nights.. would absolutely recommend it and repeat again in the future if possible.. my son enjoyed the stay so much! he get the chance to feed the ducks, play with cats, n collect eggs from the chickens😂..

Beautifully cosy cabin with delightful dutch decorations, adorable cat and tranquil lake views

Pros: The place is super cosy, filled with beautiful and personal touches to create a homely stay rich with dutch flavour. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view out onto the lake, watching the birdlife was wonderful. My highlight was really enjoying cuddles with Bram the sweet ginger cat who visited me at the cabin and made sure I didn't feel alone.

Cons: The kitchen has a seperate entrance so in the rainy weather I had to dart between bedroom and kitchen but that's nothing to really be concerned about

A peaceful place

Pros: I loved the way the hosts have taken care of the accommodation, and their warmth and kindness

Pros: The whole place was great. Loved the cat and the ducks in the lake.

Cons: Would’ve liked to have more space to layout our luggage.

Great place to unwind, and yet very close to Amsterdam

Pros: Our host was very welcoming. We had a lovely time there. It's a small town, but has a bus to Zaandam train station, where you can catch a train to Amsterdam. It is very peaceful place, one can really relax and unwind. Room is cozy, small but big enough for a couple. We felt really welcomed, especially by our special host, the cat 😺

heerlijke rust!

Pros: de locatie is heerlijk rustig achter in de tuin, aan het water, uitzicht vanuit het bed op eendjes en aalscholvers. Alles is aanwezig in het huisje, het was heel erg schoon, fijne eigenaresse.

Pros: La maison est très agréable. La vue est incroyable. Calme, reposant. Les hôtes sont charmants. Tout était parfait.

A Peaceful Lakeside Stay — With the Friendliest Cat and Chickens!

Pros: We had such a wonderful time during our stay here! The guest house is perfectly located near the lake, offering beautiful views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved waking up to the sound of nature. And of course, the highlight was Bram, the friendly resident cat. He’s so gentle and loves to greet guests, making the whole experience feel even more homely and heartwarming. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy getaway with lovely hosts (and lovely animals!), this is the perfect place. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
