Beautiful renovated Farmhouse

Picturesque and atmospheric village retreat

Pros: It was a peaceful spacious accommodation, in a lovely rural setting. The area surrounding the property is a wonderful place to recharge and enjoy different kinds of landscapes, lakes, polders, woods and heather. The best of Dutch countryside! The room itself was clean and comfortable, with easy access free parking.

Cons: The only aspect we struggled with was that even though we technically had the use of the kitchen, this was the main household kitchen. The ad mentioned the use of a 'family kitchen', but what they meant was that it is the te host's kitchen. This meant that we could cook if we needed to, but had to take the food over to our room, since we did not feel at leisure to use it as our own hanging, cooking space. For a couple of days this wasn't a big deal, but it would be helpful if this was clearer in the listing, especially for longer stays. It is not a full self-catering property. Thankfully the host was friendly and the history fascinating, which made up for the inconvenience. Would warmly recommend it for short stays.

Quiet retreat in 400 year old farmhouse

Pros: The room is private and nicely set up. You have your own small fridge and sink with kettle and coffee machine. There is a more than ample wardrobe/storage. The bathroom is private and located just down the hallway from the shared kitchen. The location is great, especially if you want to walk out in nature and still be close to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum.

Cons: The farmhouse is owned by Anton who has divided it up and rents it out to other full-time tenants - so you are not alone in the building.

Comfortable beds, but bathroom down the hall

Pros: Really luxurious farmhouse suite, with fridge, kettle etc, good heating. Comfy beds. 5 mins walk to lovely Dutch village with welcoming pub. Safe off road parking. Great walks and exploring area for dogs. 5 mins drive to Weesp. Would be amazing for bird enthusiast - they are everywhere ! Super helpful and welcoming host. Thank you !

Parfait pour découvrir Amsterdam et ses alentours !

Pros: Très bien placé, confortable et agréable ! Anton est très sympathique et attentionné ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec notre grand mère !

Cons: Attention Anton ne parle pas anglais, prévoyez une application de traduction si vous ne parlez pas néerlandais Et il y a trois grandes marches pour accéder à la chambre (sachant que la salle de bain est dans le couloir), donc si vous avez des difficultés à marcher ce n'est pas l'idéal

Eine gute Wahl wenn es einem nichts ausmacht in die Küche des Besitzers zu gehen, der dort wohnt.

Pros: Es handelt sich um ein schön renoviertes Bauernhaus in einem netten Dorf. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer für meine Frau une meine Tochter, was aus 1 grossem Schlafzimmer/Aufenthaltsraum plus einem kleinen Schlafzimmer besteht. Ein angenehmes Bad ist im Gang, man kann die Küche benutzen, aber das ist der Wohnraum des Besitzers, Anton. Er spricht nur holländisch, Kommunikation ist etwas schwierig, aber er ist sehr freundlich.

Pros: Es ist eine private Unterkunft in einer ehemaligen Farm in Nordholland. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen, vielen Dank.

Pros: De romantische kamer in landelijke sfeer. De locatie nodigt echt uit om te gaan wandelen / touren. De boerderij ziet er echt prachtig uit :)

Cons: De badkamer op de gang was voor ons geen probleem. Maar wij kunnen ons voorstellen dat het voor sommige gasten onhandig is. De keuken nodigt niet uit om eten te bereiden. Het is vrij rommelig.
