Fantastic location, amazing view and well appointed

Pros: The location was absolutely amazing with the visiting ducks a highlight for our daughter. The honey and jam were a lovely touch and would definitely stay again and spend more time exploring the area. The kitchen was well appointed for self-catering purposes, the shower was amazing, the sauna was amazing.

Houseboat life in Astrid's backyard was brilliant & an amazing experience living on a Dutch canal.

Pros: We loved the quiet location, enjoyed bird and boat watching on the canal from every window. We felt very safe and very welcomed by Astrid and her family.

Pros: The house is perfect! It´s beautifully designed and has all the necessary details for you to feel a 100% comfortable. Good bed and linen, fully equipped kitchen, of course great and chill views and an amazing full bathroom (the sauna is really really good!!). It´s clean, tidy and really feels like being home. The host Astrid is super sweet, generous and attentive; the way she treats you contributes to make the stay a great experience, good work!! We fully recommend it :) thank you!!

A beautiful dream stay

Pros: The floating house is located next to a beautiful small garden, with a lovely little terrace, in a dream surrounding! Not only do you have the terrace, but also a second one, with an arm-chair, directly on the water. One can enjoy the beauty of the river from anywhere in the house. There is a parking space directly in front of the access door, in a calm neighborhood. The sauna is a plus. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed, the heating is controlled by the client so the comfort is excellent.

Cons: For a couple, the fact that two mattresses came apart during the night in a double bed was very uncomfortable. One of us fell between them, sleeping on the wooden structure! A double bed should be provided with a double mattress, or the two separate ones should be kept together by any kind of binding, at least the bed sheets. There is no storage space and no way to hang the clothes. The hangers were in the bathroom, in a steamy damp atmosphere.

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed our week in the Netherlands.

Pros: We loved the location which is great for visiting a range of cities, towns and sites. We visited Amsterdam, The Hague, Kinderdijk, Eftleing theme park and more... We also loved swimming in the river and being able to warm up in the Sauna after a long day site seeing.

Pros: Excellent location with beautiful views across the canal.

Cons: It is close by the owner’s house, but as the property faces away from their house, it isn’t a problem.

Unusual and excellent houseboat accommodation close to both urban and rural landscapes/environments

Pros: Beautiful houseboat with views across canal to rural landscapes, well designed and equipped and with the bonus of an excellent sauna and wonderful bird life on and around the water. Lots of details considered, such as provision of nespresso pods and decent tea selection :) Great cycling nearby.

Cons: It was all fine, just be aware that behind the houseboat is quite a built up area/busy roads etc. The only tiny thing is that the venetian blinds do not shut out light particularly well - something to note if you are a light sleeper!

The perfect vacation at holland

Pros: Such a peacful and beatiful place. It feels like a fairy tail with swans and ducks that comes in the mornings. Astrid is very nice, attentive and thoughful. The kitchen is well equipped, and thinking down to the smallest details is evident. The location is great too, close to leiden, gauda, rotterdam and utrecht and all of the sights in between
