A quiet little hideaway 5 mins from the action, right on the water

Pros: Great gem of an apartment on the water away from the hustle and bustle but only a 5 min walk to the ferry and a 2 min crossing any time of night or day! Lovely Edwin welcomed us with lots of information and advice on making the most out of our short stay and we certainly did that! Had everything we needed to use in the kitchen area, shower was lovely and hot, really quiet and lovely comfortable beds. A home from home.

Cons: Not really a criticism but lack of storage/hangers in either bedroom which is fine for a short stay but maybe not for a longer stay. We couldn't really unpack our suitcases. Everything else was great thank you so much!

Fantastic stay

Pros: The location was great, close to the free ferry terminal and a short walk to shops. Our hosts had great recommendations for cheese shops and activities. Cosy and warm rooms for sleeping and hanging out in.

Cons: We recommend the door hinges to be oiled as they make a loud noise, and the plumbing for the toilet is weak however that’s what happens in houseboats.

Cosy floating house boat

Pros: A beautiful spot to stay in Amsterdam, especially sitting out on the deck having a coffee in the morning. Very easy to get to from Amsterdam, the ferries run very regularly and adds to the experience when visiting! The host is a very cool guy and very accommodating. Will be back in the future 😃

Pros: Brilliant location, really near centre but far enough away to be able to escape the hustle and bustle. Edwin was a great host and helped us with anything we needed, would highly recommend!

I would be back because owner and property are super nice

Pros: Property has everything you need and location was perfect , just 6/7min walking to the fast ferry that connect to the centraal station

Would definitely recommend staying on this houseboat

Pros: I liked the quiet neighborhood, it was funny that the whole house was rocking almost unnoticeable, the beds are comfortable, bedsheets are warm, the kitchen is well equiped, the whole place is well insulated, which is not found so often in Amsterdam. The ferry is working 24/7 to the Central.

Cons: Geting to the place is a bit of a hassle if the weather is bad, like it was last week, there are big open areas when you go to/from the ferry, where the rain and wind will pose a bit of challenge.

Pros: Great location for food shop & only a 10 min walk to the ferry for central Amsterdam.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like everything was provided & the owner was nothing but courteous.

Pros: Lieux très agréable et calme. Surtout très bien situé. Le propriétaire est très agréable, à l'écoute et il nous a donné de bons conseils et points de repère.

Leuke manier van overnachten in Amsterdam

Pros: Leuke manier om te overnachten in Amsterdam. Fijne bedden, goed uitgeruste keuken, mooie badkamer, vriendelijke eigenaren: wat wil je nog meer? Met het veer over het IJ zit je zo in het centrum. Een aanrader!

Cons: Niets
