Appartement Soigner!

Pros: The accommodation is located close to the sea, in a quiet and pleasant area. The apartment is on the upper floor of the building, easily accessible, spacious, and very well equipped. On the ground floor there is a café and a restaurant, open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everything is calm and peaceful. It is a very pleasant and nice environment.

Planning a group cycle for 2025

Pros: The whole experience was wonderful, nice host very helpful and a very fantastic restaurant next. Also apartment has a bar down stairs. If you book the upstairs apartment just be weary of the stairs to get up there they are narrow and at an angle would not suit eveyone. We enjoyed our stay here and the area was nice, there is a very nice walk to Egmond ann Zee beach with stunning scenery, and the beech is very clean. Runners cyclists and walkers were all seen doing there thing on route. All in all a fantastic time we went to do some cycling and plan to take a group next year.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: This apartment is fantastic. Is so big and cozy, one separately bedroom, toilet, bathroom, second bedroom is with living room and kitchen. Welcome drinks and snacks was great. Terrace is great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you and see you again.

It was by chance I found this place and would love to stay here again!

Pros: The location was spectacular - walking distance to dunes and sea; nearby town and supermarket; all amenities available including the generous welcome gifts of wine, snacks, beer, coffee….not even possible to enjoy all of it- so much! Also I loved the surprise Sunday afternoon of music in the cafe which was really cozy.

Cons: The only thing that was a bit difficult was the steep outdoor stairs - in the winter it is a bit tricky with luggage to go upstairs if it has been raining.

A fantastic week in a bit worn old-fashioned apartment with a really welcoming host and good beer.

Pros: The location is fantastic: very quiet, calm, comforting, 2 playgrounds for kids nearby, and a shrine of Adalbert Vojtech, a missionary who made his way to Holland from Prague a thousand years ago (btw they even brew local beer named after him and the landlord kindly offers it to you in the fridge). The landlord left us a lot of drinks and snacks. In vicinity of Egmond there are also nice places, like Egmond aan Zee with lighthouse and a beach, Alkmaar with cheese market every Friday, and of course beautiful tulip fields. The apartment is quite spacious, a lot of board games for adults and kids, comfortable chairs and table. And there's a bar right downstairs (unfortunately we couldn't visit it due to reconstruction)

Cons: The twin bed is of standard legth, 2 meters, and footboard limited my long legs a lot :) the mattress could also be newer. And the toilet is of a really old model, where you can see... you know, the products of your digestion (which is not really cool - rather warm and stinky). Also the toilet belongs to the separate bedroow (where 2 other beds are located), so if there's more than 2 people - like in our case, we put our kids to that bedroom - you will maybe think twice if you really want to visit the toilet at night (and the floor is creaky by the way ;) ) Some more shelves or cupboards at the beight beyond childrens' reach would improve the apartment a lot :)

Cons: Het geheel zou met weinig moeite een veel verzorgdere uitstraling kunnen hebben. De trap mag veiliger. Een paar latten langs de leuning schroeven bijvoorbeeld. Maar al met al zeer positief!

Prima uitvalsbasis om Egmond aan zee en de omgeving te verkennen,

Pros: Geweldige ligging. Ontvangst met allerlei versnaperingen en drankjes! De muziekmiddag in het café onder het appartement was erg leuk.

Cons: Eigenlijk voor ons geen negatieve ervaringen.

Pros: Чудове помешкання на 2 поверсі з власним входом. На кухні є все необхідне та навіть більше. Господар надав безкоштовно напої, снеки та всякі необхідні дрібниці (молоко, цукор, чай, кава, олія, спеції). Власник дуже приємна людина!
