Exactly what we needed.
Pros: Small but perfectly formed. We had just enough space for two. Personally the noise didn't bother us, as we were out for most of the time. We loved watching the boats come past and the bridge being raised too. I contacted the hosts for an iron and it was in our room before we even got back. It's about 20 minutes walk to the main part of town, but there's lovely restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
Cons: Given the age of the building, it is a little damp and there is some mould on the curtains. The place overall is clean though. It wasn't enough to put us off returning.

Unique stay, great experience
Pros: Unique quirky property, nicely converted and comfortable. Love the history of it. It was incredibly noisy but we had expected that. Fun watching the bridge go up but slightly bizarre at 5am!! A really good way to experience the city, would like to try some of the others.
Cons: Outside area was not clean, even windows had graffiti. Could do with a comfortable chair!

Pros: Very easy to check in with the flexipass app, excellent communication from sweets with the access code allowed me to check in earlier than expected. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: The trams are a little noisy but I was aware of this before hand and it wasn't a problem

Pros: A beautiful little setting overlooking the water, it truly is quite a unique way to stay in Amsterdam and one that I'd recommend to my friends easily. A very small space, but they've designed it perfectly. Every amenity that you'd need and the layout makes it feel larger than it is. Was a joy to look out the windows in the morning and watch the boats go by with a hot drink.
Cons: Several reviews mentioned this, and I get it now - it's noisy. Not in a way that would ruin your trip, honestly, it all becomes background noise, and you zone it out. If you're out during the day, which you would be, then it's really not a problem. The tram passes right by you, the bridge, of course, is operational and so lifts at times to allow boats to pass by. All of this is quite a noise, and the vibrations can be quite noticeable in your little bridge house.

The perfect tranquil yet urban weekend stay!
Pros: Accessed the room with an app, then used a card from inside the room for access the rest of the journey. And they’d decorated the room for my birthday!
Cons: Worth noting it’s close to the tram line, so could be tough for light sleepers.

Unique experience living in a piece of history
Pros: As people interested in engineering and the infrastructure of Amsterdam's canals, it was a unique and quirky experience to stay in an historic building like this. Aside from that, the location is excellent, next to the Jordaan district and a short walk to the #5 tram and the #3 tram literally running past the front door! The bed was comfortable, the shower was ok and the wifi worked just fine. The out the back of the building towards the canal is fantastic and of course there's the up-close spectacle of the bridge getting raised and lowered. The app to access the door was a little clunky, but worked ok for me (be sure to enable Bluetooth and probably NFC).
Cons: This building is meant to be an office for the bridge master, it was never meant to be lived in. As such, the layout is a little compromised such that one side of the bed is jammed against the wall, which is a little inconvenient and might be problematic for some people. As we went in January, it was pretty cold and we had to supplement the existing heating with the air conditioner - no big problem, but due to the layout, the toilet remained considerably colder than the rest of the place which is a bit of a shock to the system in the middle of the night! Also the floor was very cold which they could easily fix with a few more rugs around the place. The operation of the bridge was pretty quiet, but the trams going over it generated quite a lot of noise and vibration in the building. We slept through it no problems, but some might have issues?

Lovely view and good location!
Pros: We went for my birthday and everything was perfect and the view from the window is amazing!
Cons: The only downfall for us was it was raining when we arrived about midday and we’re unable to check in or leave our bags as the property wasn’t ready yet

wonderful and unique experience
Pros: the location is quite unique - if you want something differnt this is it quite fun to come out and find the bridge open and watch the boat passing from the bedroom window
Cons: As people traveling without a car we would have more of the bacis like sugar and toilet paper as we have to go out and buy and they were only available in large quantities in the surrounding shops.

Compact, quirky space with romantic views
Pros: This is an unusual property on the edge of the Jordaan district and close to Westerpark. Nearby there are coffee shops, bars, convenience stores and takeaways. The facilities are compact but clean and efficient. The draw for us, aside from the novelty factor was the views overlooking the water; they are stunning both in the day and at night. There is a book telling you about the history of all the bridge houses that SWEETS now rent out.
Cons: It should be noted that although it didn’t bother us too much, the bridge is active and can be raised throughout the day and night. Also a tram line passes by the property. However, we did enjoy watching house boats being towed or sail boats going through the bridge late at night. Ear plugs are provided. Some people may be put off by the graffiti on the outside of the property- especially lone travellers. We experienced no issues during our stay.

Excellent location, definitely a unique stay!
Pros: Downloading the app and using a code to get into the property was super easy. The location couldn't have been better - amazing views over the canal out of every window. Windows open wide so you feel like you're outside. Extremely comfy bed, good shower, excellent WiFi. Bluetooth speaker was a very nice addition, as with no TV in the room it was nice to have some music going. Location is great, friendly locals and all the amenities you might need within a 10 min walk. Watching the bridge go up and down from inside the property was cool
Cons: Quite noisy gate leading to the bench/balcony attached to the house. On hot days there are workers 'watering' the bridge to cool it down right outside and they go in and out of the gate to access the water pipe so you can't sleep in beyond 7:30am. There is also no full length mirror, which would be a nice addition.
