Everything you need, and more, in one compact, good value space

Pros: Everything you need for a short break, either as one or two people. Welcoming wine and fresh fruit on arrival is a lovely touch. Super-comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, the whole place is compact yet well laid out. Lounge/dining area works well as either. Off-road parking is a bonus if, like me, you have a hire car. A/C cooling/heating is great, easy to get a comfortable night-time temperature. Decent supermarket a short distance away.

Cons: Nothing except the changeable weather, but I'm guessing Jan-Louis has little say in that!

A pleasant and comfortable stay, perfect for a short visit in Almere.

Pros: The room was very clean, cozy, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. Everything I needed was available.

Cons: Nothing major, maybe just that the room was a bit small — but still comfortable overall.

Pros: The place is very clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. Located in a beautiful and quiet area. Easy to go and come back from Amsterdam with public transport, but also offers a convenient parking spot right in front of the house. We really had everything we needed for the long weekend spent in the area and would definitely choose this place again in the future.

Superb stay

Pros: Excellent and comfy room with easy instructions and support from the hosts. Also a beautiful back garden which we were able to use

A great host and a compact, well appointed, clean and comfortable apartment - Perfect!

Pros: Compact, well appointed and comfortable. Jan Louis's a great host and has obviously put plenty of thought into creating this apartment. Beautifully clean, everything I needed for the week was there, and a nice touch were the welcoming drinks and fruit. Jan Louis kindly makes off-road parking available which is a rarity in Almere. Only a few minutes from work and a nice wee supermarket nearby. The apartment is in a very quiet area, so a good night's sleep is assured. Aircon is there both for cooling and heating. For cooking there's a microwave and a double induction hob. There's a small dining table which doubles as a work desk and the TV is 'smart' with free-to-access channels. All in all it's a great place to stay and I plan to be back again soon.

Convenient and friendly

Pros: Quiet area, conveniently close to Amsterdam etc, privacy. Equipped and decorated with style.

Cons: Bathroom wash stand and kitchen sink were too small for comfort. Main light switch not to be reached easily.

Pros: Rent och fräscht och framför allt en jättetrevlig och hjälpsam värd.

Cons: Lite ensligt beläget, men bra förbindelser med bussar in till city.
