The Harbour Leiden

A great option for a comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced stay in Leiden.

Pros: The location was fantastic. The host was responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable. It was convenient to have access to the shared kitchen.

Cons: Everything was fine for me, but I can see that the steps to the apartment and the ladder to the loft might not work for some people.

Perfect for a family, ideal to visit Leiden.

Pros: Nice location, ideal to visit Leiden. Comfy and facilities perfect for a family, kitchenette all equipped. Room really clen and well furbished.

Cons: Nothing in particular. I'd add more cleaning products in the kitchenette and kitchen paper.

Amazing stay - highly recommended.

Pros: The Harbour Lieden is an amazing find. Great location, lovely, clean rooms, comfy beds with everything you could need . But most of all an amazing host. Caroline was warm, attentive and welcoming. She was helpful with any question or request. Will definitely book amd stay again Please score 10 for everything

Beautiful Cossy Rooms

Pros: Beautiful place to stay, very cossy and close to all amenities in Leiden. We stayed at the top floor, which was great, the room was spacious, every floor has it's own kitchen. Overall, it was worth it. Caroline was very helpful whenever we needed help she was there.

A well appointed property close to the historic heart of Leiden

Pros: The property was well managed, and the owner/agent was very proactive in advance and during the stay. The property was nicely fitted and with a good bed. It was very clean with fresh towels. There were some nice strolls around the Singel and canals. It was easy to get into the historic heart of Leiden and the sights of the city.

Cons: The property is a good location for the harbour and the historic centre of Leiden, but a bit far from the railway station to walk for an elderly person, so buses or taxis may be needed. This is not the owners fault, but the buses from the station were diverted for the weekend days we stayed so it was not so easy for an elderly person to get too and taxis are expensive in the Netherlands. The stairs are very steep, so it is advisable to think about access if you book this place, but that is true of many Dutch houses.

Great room in lovely quiet area- would highly recommend. About 15-20 minutes walk from central station.

Pros: The room is beautiful and super clean. The canal view is amazing.

Pros: The location is convenient, in the old town, close to public transport. The room was perfect, very large and bright with amazing view over the canal.

Pros: Te second floor apartman is more amasing than the first floors. I am happy to choose this apartman to stay in Leiden.

Very happy, would highly recommend.

Pros: Light, airy room, large modern bathroom, access to kitchenette, very clean, comfortable bed

Cons: A small loveseat or armchair would be a nice addition
